At Superdry, we value genuine and honest feedback from our customers. Customer reviews help other shoppers make informed purchasing decisions and help us improve our products and services.

This policy explains how customer reviews are collected, moderated, published, and shared on our website.

We use Trustpilot to collect and manage customer product and service reviews.

Following the purchase of products from the Superdry website, customers may receive an invitation to leave a review relating to:

•  the product purchased; and/or

•  their shopping experience.

We do not offer payments, discounts, rewards, free products, or other incentives in exchange for submitting reviews.

Product reviews are only accepted from verified customers who have made a genuine purchase from the Superdry website. Review invitations are sent exclusively to the email address associated with a confirmed transaction. We maintain records linking each review to a specific purchase for verification purposes.

Should we introduce any incentives, rewards, or compensation for reviews in the future, we will ensure: clear and prominent disclosure of the incentive is displayed alongside each review; the nature and value of any incentive is transparently communicated; reviewers are informed they must disclose any material connection to Superdry; incentivised reviews are clearly labelled to distinguish them from non-incentivised reviews


Product reviews may appear on relevant product description pages on our website and may include:

•  the customer’s Trustpilot username;

•  star ratings; and

•  written review content.

Service or customer experience reviews may also appear across our website or marketing materials where relevant.

Reviews published on our website reflect the opinions of individual customers and do not represent the views of Superdry.

Reviews displayed on product pages are shown in reverse chronological order (most recent first) by default. Where filtering or sorting options are provided, these are clearly labelled and available for all review types. Aggregated star ratings accurately reflect all published reviews for that product. We do not use algorithms or AI tools to prioritise positive reviews or suppress negative reviews in search results or display rankings.


Trustpilot uses automated systems and moderation processes to help detect and prevent fake, fraudulent, or misleading reviews from being published. 

We work with Trustpilot to help maintain the accuracy and integrity of customer review content.

Reviews may be removed or rejected where they:

•  are suspected to be fake or misleading. Reviews are considered fake or misleading where: the reviewer did not purchase or experience the product or service being reviewed; the review was submitted by a Superdry employee, competitor, or other party with an undisclosed material connection; the content misrepresents the reviewer's genuine experience; the review was incentivised without proper disclosure; multiple reviews originate from the same source or show coordinated patterns; the review contradicts verified purchase information;

•  contain offensive, abusive, discriminatory, or unlawful language;

•  contain spam, advertising, or irrelevant content;

•  infringe the rights of others; or

•  otherwise breach Trustpilot’s guidelines or applicable law.

If a review is identified as fake or inappropriate after publication, it may be removed from Trustpilot and from the Superdry website.

We take the following reasonable and proportionate steps to prevent, detect, and remove fake or misleading reviews: 

•  conducting monthly audits of published reviews to identify suspicious patterns or anomalies; 

•  maintaining verification records confirming reviewers were genuine customers; 

•  training staff responsible for review oversight on identifying fake or misleading content; 

•  using automated monitoring tools in addition to Trustpilot's systems to flag high-risk reviews; 

•  investigating clusters of reviews with similar language, IP addresses, or posting patterns; 

•  removing identified fake reviews within 48 hours of detection.

We require Trustpilot to comply with all applicable laws including the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024. We maintain contractual rights to audit Trustpilot's review collection, moderation, and publication processes. We conduct quarterly reviews of Trustpilot's compliance procedures and retain oversight of all reviews published on our website, regardless of the platform used to collect them.

Product reviews relating to Superdry products may be shared with other authorised retailers who sell the same Superdry product.

Where reviews are shared, the content will remain attributed to the original Trustpilot username and star rating associated with the review.

When sharing reviews with authorised retail partners, we require partners to: 

•  display reviews accurately without alteration or selective editing; 

•  maintain the original attribution and star rating; comply with applicable consumer protection laws when publishing reviews; 

•  not use shared reviews in misleading ways that misrepresent product quality or customer sentiment.


We are committed to displaying customer reviews fairly and transparently.

We do not:

•  create or publish fake reviews;

•  selectively publish only positive reviews;

•  suppress genuine negative reviews; or

•  provide undisclosed incentives for reviews.

Our review practices are designed to comply with applicable consumer protection laws, including the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.

We do not commission, procure, or knowingly permit third parties (including marketing agencies, affiliates, or brand ambassadors) to create or submit fake reviews on our behalf. Where we engage third parties for marketing purposes, contracts include explicit prohibitions on creating or submitting fake reviews and requirements to comply with consumer protection law.

If you believe a review published on our website may be fake, misleading, or inappropriate, you may report the review directly through Trustpilot’s reporting tools.

Reported reviews will be reviewed in accordance with Trustpilot’s moderation policies and procedures.

We retain records evidencing the authenticity of reviews (including proof of purchase and customer verification data) for a minimum of two years following publication to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements.

We cooperate fully with the Competition and Markets Authority and other enforcement bodies in relation to review-related investigations. We maintain documented evidence of our compliance measures and make these available to regulators upon request.
