I am 5 ft 6" and weigh 142 pounds. I fit between small and medium with most UK and US brands. The Muir jacket is indeed a nice soft leather jacket and given the fact that this particular style is not sold in stores in the U.S. or Hong Kong, I have no problem spending good money online and have it shipped free to San Francisco, CA (where I reside now). I went for medium as I read from previous reviews that the Muir runs small. So I ordered on Thursday and received the following Monday (which is phenomenal ) Only complaint I have is that, while the shoulder fits quite well, the sleeves are 3 inches too long for me. I just dropped it off with an expert tailor to have it altered. Maybe I will post an update pic in three weeks and you can be the judge. :)

This jacket is fantastic for casual wear or a night out, i've received loads of positive comments. The leather is super soft and makes you want to touch it. For a light jacket i've been surprised at how warm it keeps on colder days. If you need an extra bit of warmth throw a superdry hoodie on underneath and it still looks great! Highly recommend it.
