What to wear to Field Day festival

The weather in London could be unpredictable – expect a bit of sun with some rain thrown in.

Girls – base your look around your waterproofs. It’s a rule that no matter the weather you’ve got to get your pins out at a festival. So while a waterproof jacket in a strong print is a must – you can still wear it over a summer dress. Finish with plenty of glitter and keep your sunnies close – just in case.

Guys – layers are a must at Field Day. So it’s a good idea to pop those shorts on with a plain t-shirt, plus a waterproof jacket. You can always tie this around your waist if things get warm. Trainers you don’t mind getting muddy and sports socks finish things off.

Reading Festival

24th – 26th August, Richfield Avenue, Reading

Reading has lost its rock edge in recent years but now offers a real mixed bag of music – perfect if you’re heading there with a big group of mates. There are some massive acts this year – making this three day event a must.

  • Dua Lipa
  • Post Malone

  • Panic! At The Disco
  • And most importantly – Big Shaq.

What to wear to Reading Festival

Weather wise – expect rain but with some decent sunny spells thrown in.

Girls – shorts and a band tee are a staple look for this event. Let everyone know who you’ll be screaming for on Sat night. Keep the same shorts on for the weekend but mix and match your t-shirts. Tie a plaid shirt around your waist and grab a lightweight (waterproof) jacket to throw on if the weather turns. Go for ankle boots over wellies.

Guys – t-shirt + board shorts = spot on Reading festival look. The shorts are breathable and keep you cool but can still look pretty smart. Wear with a plain or printed t-shirt – depending on your vibe. Avoid a rucksack though – grab a bum bag but wear this diagonally across your body for easy access.

Girl – don’t be afraid to dabble in glitter and stick on gems. Embrace sparkle everywhere – check out one of our fave bloggers Sophie Hannah for a festival look perfect for this festival. Clothing wise – pair a cropped top with denim mini skirt and chunky ankle boots. Tie a denim jacket around your waist for later.

Guys –  cargo shorts and a printed tee are all you need for a wild weekend. Pair these with work boots to last on your feet all day and ditch a jacket for a bold shirt to layer up with. Take a round neck jumper too – pull the shirt collar through if you wear it later when it gets cold.
