Superdry Times Square. Grand Opening!

Start spreading the news, Superdry’s here to stay. We want to be a part of it, New York, New York!!

When news got out that we were about to unveil a two story, 14,000-square-foot store in New York City’s iconic Times Square, Superdry fans from across the five boroughs came out in force and began an overnight queue to be amongst the first to step foot into our 49th and 7th avenue store – and who could blame them!

We had loads of exciting opening day offers, such as free leather jackets for the first 100 customers and even the chance to win a shopping spree worth $5,000!

Whilst our orange bagged street team and queue of Superdry clad fans decorated the outside of the store, we went all out with the interior of the store with some unique design innovations – an industrial bomb light chandelier made from British factory lights salvaged from the 1940’s and bespoke cubby-style denim cabinetry all filled with our premium range of clothing!

Now one of the world’s most famous landmarks is home to one of the world’s most famous brands – and we’re thrilled to be here!

USA. Mall of America. Superdry Store

Superdry are going full steam ahead with our openings in America! Just after our South Street Seaport launch in New York, we have just welcomed a new store in the Mall of America, Minnesota!

The second largest mall in North America includes it’s own theme park- one of the largest indoor theme parks in the United States!

USA. South Street Seaport. Superdry Store

Superdry is tremendously excited to open at New York’s, South Street Seaport (SSSP). It is our second store in the big apple along with our flagship on Broadway.

SSSP is situated on Lower Manhattan’s waterfront, which boasts a breathtaking view. A refreshing part of the city, it offers not only great malls but also some of the oldest architecture in downtown Manhattan.

Located on Water Street, the massive new opening stocks of our iconic graphic tee’s, premium leathers and denims along with our exclusive women’s range, Vintage Thrift. The store is a feast for the eyes! The Superdry trademark; oak cladded walls, jam jar lights, exposed brick walls, steel pillars juxtaposed with the gloriously patterned vintage wallpaper which identifies our thrift section.

USA. Superdry & NYU

One lucky winner from the New York University won a treat from Superdry to a $400 prize makeover in store last week! Every May, the New York University’s Office of Residential Life & Housing Services holds an end of year banquet for its student staff and this year Superdry sponsored the prize give away! The winner was Christina who was taken around the collection and dressed by our New York stylists in our latest summer looks. Christina looked gorgeous in our Vintage Alexia dress and was automatically drawn to our fun and flirty Vintage Thrift range as well as our skinny denims and lumberjack shirts!

USA. Las Vegas. Superdry Store

Across the pond in America, the gambling and entertainment capital – Las Vegas has now got it’s own Superdry store! There has been a great reception for the new opening and Superdry even featured on ABC’s “The Morning Blend” with a few key looks being modelled on the programme, with our U.S marketing manager, Rachel Mansfield talking through the styles! We can be found on the ground floor of the Fashion Show Mall where there are many other top fashion brands. Las Vegas is our fifth opening in the states, joining Superdry in New York, Paramus, Los Angeles and San Francisco!

San Francisco. USA. VIP Party

For our Facebook and Twitter followers, you will know San Francisco had its own special VIP party earlier in the month with well over a hundred people turning up! The store was open after normal closing hours and everyone was entertained with a set by Swedish DJ Bjorn Niclas. Shoppers were not only treated to the brilliant DJ set, there were delicious mini cupcakes decorated with ‘Superdry Orange’ swirls and the opportunity to browse after hours at our collection!

Superdry Los Angeles update.

As you guys who follow us on Facebook know, Superdry invited fans for a fantastic night of discounts with drinks and nibbles at our Los angeles store last Thursday. Thank you for making it such a fantastic event, it was great to see you! Everybody enjoyed browsing through our exciting Superdry range while being entertained by DJ sets.
