Thursday 11th April 2013 was a big day in the Superdry calendar. not only were we previewing our AW13 collection to the most established Fashion writers, journalists and bloggers in the uk, but we were also getting to launch something big…

And by big we mean The Superdry + Timothy Everest womens sebiro collection!

The biggest names in fashion spent the day in the showroom of  our flagship store on London’s famous Regent Street,  checking out the collection that will be released later in the year.

Our AW13 collection features well-loved and classic Superdry pieces as well as a new grown-up collection of female tailoring that oozes modern, feminine glamour.

Womens denim has had a major overhaul with new wash techniques for jeans, complete with a vibrant palette of animal prints, dip dyes and unique shades of raspberry and winter green, whilst our menswear takes inspiration from the past with a heavy dose of the new. Think retro fairisle knits in crew and roll neck styles, updated with pops of neon yarn and navajo details.

Our standout attraction, and something that put a smile on the faces of the writers from of Vogue, Grazia, Company Magazine, Elle & GQ to name a few, was our Exclusive Social Media Mirror!

Our guests were given the chance to take their photo on the huge interactive, touch screen mirror and share in real time to their social media pages!

Following the successful launch of the tailored collection for men, the evening saw the unveiling of the new Superdry + Timothy Everest Womens Sebiro Collection to a very packed audience. At 6pm sharp the curtains opened to the new pieces from the exclusive collection. The Town Coat, The Country Rebel, The Rock Rebel and The Muse, designed specifically for the modern women. From ‘Rock Chic’ to ‘Country Rebel, it is a trans-seasonal collection of core tailored staples, which echo unequalled atention to detail, super cuts and the finest quality cloths around.

After last week things seem to have quietened down here at Superdry HQ. However we’ve seen a fair few famous faces (all the F’s!) spotted in Superdry this week!

X Factor mentor and judge, Nicole Scherzinger was spotted twice in and around the capital wearing Superdry. We think she looked fab in her joggers, lumberjack hood and lace rib vest and the Fisherman’s beanie leaving our Regent Street store.

With the X Factor in mind, Union J were looking dapper in their suits on Saturday nights show and JJ rocked the Superdry + Timothy Everest Super Spy.

Tulisa paired her Stacker Classic Hood with a pair of denims whilst out and about – we’ve been going X Factor crazy!

TOWIE star and fashion fanatic, Lydia Bright took a liking to the  Tassel Cardigan. It seems a few people are loving this, as radio presenters Fearne Cotton and Gemma Cairney were also spotted in it too.

Anna Friel was spotted outside stage door of her latest west end show Uncle Vanya in our Apres Crew and Torsby Crew!

Boy band Lawson have a been seen in our Anika fairisle crew and the tarpit leather jacket.

Thinking about it, it hasn’t been a quiet week at all!

Super Spies, Bank Robbers, San Franciscans, and Country Rebels took over the entire 3rd floor of Superdry International for the official announcement of the Superdry + Timothy Everest Sebiro Collection.

Friday night saw the official launch of the collaboration, and in the company of industry heads from both sides of the atlantic, we announced to the world our direction for SS13.

The event launch kicked off at around 6pm, with plenty of people already inside, but that was just a fraction of what was to come.

The velvet rope was opened to a crowd of Menswear fashion press and VIP guests that included member of the fashion elite, Suzy Menkes, GQ’s Robert johnson, the BFC’s very own Dylan Jones & Caroline Rush, as well as menswear bloggers Prince Cassius, Kenny Ho, The Style King and JaimeLondonBoy.

The twitterati were all busy live tweeting the event, as were we, and you can see just some of the chat here.

It wasn’t just the fashion press that were impressed either! In true Superdry style, Jamie arrived in the Superdry Morgan 3 Wheeler to have a chat with Superdry’s very own Julian Dunkerton and James Holder, and to meet the other name behind the collaboration; Timothy Everest!

Events like this don’t come around very often, but we can guarantee you’ll be hearing a lot of noise about the Sebiro Collection over the coming months!
