Whilst clouds above us may have turned grey and the calendar will shortly remind us to return indoors, the festival spirit is still very much alive and we’re not ready to hibernate for winter just yet!
This weekend, I indulged myself in an embarrassing number of doughnuts and Mr. Whippy’s whilst rocking to the sounds of contemporary electronic artists, DJ’s and performers from all over at the SW4 festival in Clapham Common. Although the forecast promised a bit of a drizzle, I couldn’t have requested for better weather to bring out a bit of leather, and I paired my Superdry biker jacket with matching ankle boots and one of my hands down favourite styles to wear at a festival: the maxi dress. I played around with mine, and tied it with a vintage scarf and wore it down later on.
Being a 90’s kid, I inevitably had to hear Basement Jaxx play, and it was nothing short of awesome! Having mostly heard it on my discman back then, when they were still around to now be hearing them on stage sugar-fuelled on sparkly raspberry icing doughnuts… needless to say, this was an event that left the viewer speechless and entertained in a way, only London knows how!
