Festival season is here and with it comes immense music, incredible style and the best parties of the summer.

Park Life in Manchester’s Heaton Park kicks off June’s festivals. And with a line-up that will be hard to beat, big names include, Disclosure, Rudimental and Wu Tang Clan, to name just a few. With a weekend that just can’t make its mind up style is a challenge. Channel the vibes of the festival with neon shorts, or mix it up with some serious all over print.

Want to play it safe? Tie-dye with denim shorts is a festival winner.

Then in less than two weeks we’ll be taking on Sonar Festival in beautiful Barcelona. For once your cagoule and wellies can stay at home. This is a festival for sun seekers and will need some incredible sandals to match the truly awe-inspiring line-up.

The end of the month takes us to one of the most iconic festivals in the UK, Glastonbury. For those of you lucky enough to get tickets festival style just got serious as you tackle muddy fields while looking effortlessly immaculate. So we will be rocking out to Florence in a perfect combo of dungarees and parka.

Closing this month we have a playlist that’s an eclectic mix of all the sounds we can’t get enough of.

Nao helps kicks it off with ‘Apple Cherry’. We first spotted her when she appeared on A.K. Paul’s track ‘So Good’, she has also featured on Mura Masa’s ‘Firefly’ that we included on our playlist last month. On Friday she released her new EP ‘February 15’ which is well worth a listen.

Track 6, Maribou State’s ‘Raincoats’, is one we’ve been really excited to share. The track builds slowly for an essential blissed out summer sound. And makes the wait for their album release on June 1st even harder. If you’re anything like us you’ll be itching to see them in action and with tour dates booked throughout Europe this summer they’re bound to be playing near you.

Skipping to the next track we have the incredible Nick Monaco’s ‘Umi Says’. Picking up the pace of the playlist the track features the vocals from Mos Def’s 1999 original. It really works it’s the perfect blend of old and new.

Once again Mura Masa deep in the game – non-stop these guys! This time they’re accompanied by the seriously smooth vocals from 19-year-old London based Billie Black. Speaking of Black, she has just released her new track ‘Going Under’ that can be found on her SoundCloud channel with the EP out on 25th May.

Next up are London based duo Oh Wonder who are taking the web by storm. With their SoundCloud channel stating that they’re “releasing one song a month for a year” each track that they release is getting serious hits (in 20 days this track has had 600k plays). Like what they’re doing? You can catch them live with their tour kicking off in September.

That’s all for this week, but next week we’ll be back on our SoundCloud channel with a mega mix from one of our favorite DJ’s, in the meantime have a listen to the sounds that made the May Vol 2 playlist below.

On Monday, we headed down to the incredible Rush Skate Park to watch the amazing Rebel School Jam Finals.

Rush Skate Park is a unique venue, the biggest indoor skate area in the cotswolds, the awesome atmosphere is matched by the equally jaw dropping design and style. Not only is the skate area enormous it’s also massively diverse. Loaded with grind pipes, bowl ramps, half pipes and even a foam pit to practise those difficult to perfect tricks.

Ross Domanski from Marling School

June 1st is only a couple of weeks away but it couldn’t come sooner as it see’s the release of Jamie XX’s debut album, ‘In Colour’. We thought it seemed fitting to add his & Romy’s cover of Florence & The Machine. He’s already dropped four tracks from the album and their going down well – so much so, the first date of the album tour sold out in 30 seconds – we’re very jealous to those of you who managed to cop a ticket!

We we’re updating our store playlists and realised that we’d never reposted Flume’s remix of Lorde’s ‘Tennis Court’. It’s a huge remix and totally serves the original track justice – with nearly 24 million plays, Aussie based producer Flume is doing no wrong.

HNNY is back, again! This guy literally cannot stop and we’ve seen three new tracks from him this month alone. ‘Cheer Up, My Brother’ adds some lovely funk hits to the gospel track ‘Farther Along’. HNNY is also set to be releasing an album very shortly and this happens to be the opener.

Further down we’ve got Julio Bashmore’s latest party tricks, ‘Holding On’ & ‘Kong’. Having boomed into the limelight a few years back with the huge ‘Battle For Middle You’ & of course the anthem for 2012, ’Au Seve’, the Bristol born & raised producer knows how to get people moving. Now hailing in London, he’s stepped it up again, especially with ‘Kong’ – our summer playlists are coming along nicely!

I feel like we’ve really been spoilt the last few months as there have been so many diverse releases from the likes of Courtney Barnett, Panda Bear, Roisin Murphy to Lapalux & Mura Masa. Now lets not forget Alabama Shakes new album ‘Sound & Colour’. They have spiced up their sound and it’s good, it’s great! If you’re quick you’ll be able to catch them performing across the globe right now.

Lastly, our friends George Craig & Terry Edwards over at Check On Talent have recently signed two of the freshest bands that the UK has to offer, from the Jamie Campbell Bower- fronted The Darling Buds to the authentic rock’n'rollers Hello Operator … they are definitely our ‘ones to watch’ this summer!

Listen to the full playlist here and don’t miss out on the next update coming next Monday!

In 2003 we created a series of 5 t-shirts for a British store each graphic was drawn by hand. Since then we have grown into an internationally recognisable brand with a cult celebrity following but we’ve still kept the tradition of drawing our logos by hand. With over 500 unique designs in our stable we’re going to be bringing you a series of four hand-drawn designs, one for each week of May.

Like the design? It’s our womens pegasus tee now in store and online.

This weeks playlist is bursting with new tracks and artists that are dominating the electric sounds of the summer, here are just a few of our favourites.

First up is ‘Firefly’ by Mura Masa – the newest EP from the 18 year old a record of electric perfection that is hard to come by. Complete with the silky sounds of Nao it’s no wonder that this track has had over 300,000 plays on SoundCloud – we can’t wait to see what’s next for him.

Next up is Lion Babe’s ‘Wonder Woman’ featuring a stellar intro from the legendary Annie Mac. The duo, Jillian and Lucas, from New York have been making waves with their songs ‘Treat Me Like Fire’ and ‘Jump High’ which featured Childish Gambino and ‘Wonder Woman’ looks set to kick it up a gear as it is produced by the incredible Pharrell Williams.

Further down this weeks playlist is a light and refreshing track from UK producer Aeble, ‘better by your side’ the fast yet calming electronics are accompanied by laid-back vocals of Tom Aspaul. It is an un-demanding upbeat and feel good track that has us counting down the days to summer.

Towards the end of the playlist is Flako a musician from Chile. His latest work ‘Natureboy’ features an incredibly captivating track ‘With me Now’ it is a mix of electric synths, harmonious vocals and incredible beats that are gently upbeat.

A mix of vibrant sounds and chilled out mixes, this weeks playlist will have you desperate for summer, listen to the full soundtrack here.

Personalisation is back in our premium lounge!

In December for one week only we launched our personalisation station in our Regent Street Premium Lounge. Here you could have your name, favourite phrase emblazoned on your Superdry Hoodie.

In that week we were overwhelmed by orders from you and even Cat’s The Musical Star, Nicole Scherzinger, wanted in on the action. As soon as the last hoodie was personalised we knew we wanted to bring it back and we wanted it to stay. So now the premium lounge is host to our personalisation station as well as personal shopping and styling.

Our premium lounge is located on the lower ground floor of our Regent Street flagship store, open Monday-Saturday 10am-8pm & Sundays 11:30am-6pm.
