Earlier this month we took over the spanish town of Serrano in true Superdry-style as we unveiled our AW12 collection for the press and public to see. Amongst all the classic Superdry items that you already know and love, we also had an exclusive preview of our Spring and Summer 2013 collection on display, giving our fans an early preview of where we’re heading when the weather warms up!
The launch party was attended by friend-of-the-brand and Moto GP2 champion, Marc Marquez, who came to se what we had to offer and have a look around the new store. While he was in-store, Marc was even interviewed by the press about his recent Moto GP 2 win and his love of Superdry!
Much to Marc’s surprise we even presented him with his own personalized cake! Marc’s loyal fans traveled to see him while in Serrano and even queued outside to get a glimpse of the Superdry-sponsored rider. After his interviews, the fans poured into the store to have a look at the clothing and have their photos taken with their hero.
The evening is when the party really started as the mojitos and food were on tap! A red carpet (we definitely think this should have been orange!) marked the paths of the street and the lights were focused on our branded photowall. Other Spanish celebs who know and love the brand were also seen around and about the store, including Caminero, Oscar Higares, Carmen Jordá, Llorenç Gonzalez, Marco Rocha, Marta Torné, Paula Prendes and Robert Ramírez.
The pop-rock group Atacados were in-store playing a fantasic set they had prepaired especially for us.
Wow! What a night!
