As you know, here in Valencia we never miss an opportunity to celebrate. So last week, in true Superdry style, we thew a huge party in one of the most well-known night spots in the city: Ani+ Puerto!
Situated smack bang on the seafront, it’s no wonder why this venue attracted more than 5000 Superdry fans that were all up for one thing….. an awesome night!
The Superdry Photowall went down a treat with our guests, and it seemed everyone was drying to get their hands on our tee-in-a-tin tins in our competition!
The party went on into the small hours and everyone had a great night – we can’t wait for the next one!

The young Singer, Xuso Jones joined us on the 27th June with a live accoustic set at the Superdry store in Valencia.
The event, which started at 7pm, had high expectations from Xuso’s fans, who arrived as early as 2pm to see the Singer. Some fans even traveling from as far as 400km to see their idol.
The gig was atended by over 200 people and the Young star started with Price Tag by Jessie J followed by Glad you came – The Wanted, Grenade – Bruno Mars, Hold my Hand -Michael Jackson, and I’m Yours by Jason Mraz. He then wowed fans with his own song buy the dj a round and surprised everyone with one of Nicki Minaj’s raps and closed with the classic Stand by Me. Of course, he didn’t miss out the hit that made him famous ¡McAuto song! Like a true star, Xuso played the songs his fans had requested throughout the gig.
When Xuso finished his set, he gave fans the chance to take a photo with him and have a signed picture. It was a great afternoon in Valencia with a star who has fast become a phenomenon with over 10 million hits on Youtube and over 40,000 followers on Twitter!

This week, Superdry Spain got involved with Barcelona’s famous Brandery Fashion Fair to celebrate all things style and Superdry.
Attracting a mix of coolhunters, buyers, bloggers, creatives, journalists and industry professionals, 18 models put on a great show give barcelona its first glimpse of our AW12 collection, set to land in stores very soon.
And in celebration of Superdry-sponsored moto 2 rider Marc Marquez, the race was on! We had a replica of Marc’s motobike and 4 MOTO GP simulators for our fans to enjoy! Winners of the races were able to celebrate their glory with a pic on the podium in front of our branded photo wall.
It’s not hard to see why our stand was loved by all who attended. We even had a few famous faces drop by, including actor Santi Millán.

A Superdry store opening in spain wouldn’t be the same without an exclusive party, which is exactly the reason why we celebrated the opening of our new Superdry Zaragoza store with a party in one of the most desirable clubs in the city: Sala Fox Zaragoza!
More than 200 fans joined us at the club to celebrate the April 12th opening, partying until the early hours! We had the Superdry garage photocall where we were taking photos of all our guest and even had a giveaway of some of the latest Superdry SS12 pieces!

We can’t believe it’s already been six months since we held our very first pádel tournament, but we’ve been back out on the courts again at Fibra’s Club, Cabrera de Mar in Barcelona for our second Pádel tournament!
This time, more than 80 couples have been going head to head, fighting for their place on Saturday’s final! Superdry fan and FC Barcelona defender Sergi Barjuan tried his hand at the fast-paced sport of pádel, playing in the first category with his on-court partner!
Saturday came and the professionals took to the court; Ruben Rivera, Carlos Obradors, David Esteban and Pedro Alonso showed off their amazing skills and had the crowd cheering whilst DJ David Josa provided the music – a blend of funky house and dance music.
As the dust settled on the pádel courts, everyone headed over to the award ceremony held at Barcelona’s Ambient Mataró where all players and fans had time to relax and enjoy the drinks and nibbles we had provided. Taking to the podium, the winners received their trophies and Superdry vouchers!
We can’t wait until the next tournament!

Barcelona is well known for it’s eclectic weekend nightlife and, last Friday, Superdry took over one of the trendiest nightspots in the whole city; Club Vetro! Located on the hills of Barcelona, we invited more than 600 of Barcelona’s biggest Superdry fans to come and get a preview of the latest Superdry items that weren’t yet in store! Everyone had fun taking pictures on the Garaje photocall, whilst some lucky fans were the proud winners of exclusive Superdry items!

It’s that time of year again where we pull out all the stops as Superdry takes part at Barcelona’s massive tradeshow, The Brandery! To the delight of visitors, they were greeted with our funfair inspired stand
‘Superdry Races 2012’, provided entertainment in the form of camel races (based on our traditional arcade horse race game) with fantastic prizes on offer to lucky winners. Guests, Dani Moreno and Jose AM from Maxima FM were our resident stand-commentators who’s mischievous competitive streak livened up the games!
For the full funfair experience, visitors could grab some popcorn from our cart along with candyfloss!
Later in the day, the alternative Superdry catwalk took place with the superb hip-hop dance company, DBlock. Modeling Superdry’s newest offerings, the dancers put on an energetic show, with Elena Carrasco who’s powerful voice introduced the acts on stage and beat boxer Toni, performing throughout. Our friend Josef Ajram even made an appearance and tried his hand at hip-hop dancing!
A live competition was held after the show and goody bags were presented to the winners on stage! We’re missing the bright lights and funfair atmosphere already; we had a great time and look forward to the next edition of The Brandery!

Last September, Superdry Spain, along with popular men’s magazine Men’s Health, held their first Pádel tournament in Barcelona’s Bonasport sports club!
A popular sport in Spain and Latin America, Pádel fuses elements from both tennis and squash, making it an extremely fast-paced game.
Over 150 people took part in the week-long tournament and, in true Superdry style, it attracted the attention of some local celebs, too! Spanish radio personality Javier Cardenas and ex-football and tennis legends Sergi Barjuan and Sergi Bruguera were keen to play a round of Pádel with the Superdry team.
At the end of the tournament, professional Pádel players Cristian Guillín, Ruben Rivera, Toni Bueno and Miguel Ángel Jiménez were there to present the winners their awards at popular Spanish venue Club Astoria!
Congratulations and thanks go out to the winners and everyone who made the tournament a success!

Barcelona’s massive tradeshow, ‘The Brandery’, took place last month and Superdry we set up a stand to demonstrate what the Superdry experience is to guests. Adorning the ‘vintage garage’ themed stand were outfits pieced together from our latest collections, along with the Morgan Three Wheeler and a sign of our British roots- represented by the iconic red London bus!
Our friends from the hip hop dance group, ‘Brodas Bros’, were our models for the event, wearing a variation of Superdry outfits during their performance on stage. Mixing comedy with entertainment and dance, the group used some uncanny inflated heads which are called ‘Cap Grossos’; traditional with Catalan entertainment!
The group took their performance to the stand later in the day with an impromptu performance, joined by percussionists who spontaneously grabbing grabbed the Superdry barrels and using used them as drums, and whilst playing alongside a Saxaphone player. The public bravely got involved by joining Brodas Bros in some break dancing and improvisation! A crowd formed to watch what was an extremely fun and entertaining show put on by Superdry, at The Brandery!

This weekend saw Superdry kick off with a night at Maresme (BCN), La Sala Privat Mataró, Spain. To introduce the brand to thousands of guests, there was an opportunity to win leather jackets for two lucky guests. They were Pedro and Jess who looked fabulous, modelling their Brads and Angelinas! In addition, everyone had photos taken by the popular Superdry photo wall. The hospitable Privat club stayed opened until the early hours of 6am when guests started to leave, a sure sign of a popular night! Este fin de semana Superdry inauguró la terraza del local de referencia del Maresme (bcn), La Sala Privat Mataró. Para dar a conocer la marca a los 1.500 asistentes que acudieron, se celebró un sorteo de dos Brad y Angelina leather jackets! Además los asistentes participaron activamente haciéndose fotos en nuestro clásico Photocall Superdry! La Sala Privat abrió sus puertas desde las 00 hasta las 6 de la mañana convirtiendo la noche del sábado en una noche especial.
