Meet Charlotte and Adèle – these two Belgian students are being sponsored by Superdry during the 4L trophy event which is an event opened to all students in Europe. Kitted out in their Superdry sponsored Renault 4L car, the girls set off from Paris (along with 800 other 4L cars) to Marrakech, Morocco with the aim to deliver school equipment, sport supplies and medical equipment to hundreds of children in the south of Morocco.
Participants of the adventure are armed with only a compass, a road book and a map on their journey! With the Moroccan desert as a massive contender for Charlotte and Adèle, they had one slight snag as they drove through the Les Pyrénées mountains. An overheated head gasket! It seems the poor girls were conquered by the mountains and they had to make their way back, unable to complete their mission to Morocco. However their enthusiasm has not wavered and they are both looking forward to taking part again next year!

Tout avait super bien démarré pour Charlotte et Adèle. Un beau soleil de février inondait le Cinquantenaire pour ce pré-départ belge, la 4L bleue Superdry des filles resplendissait la forme. Le désert marocain n’avait qu’à bien se tenir ! En route pour Paris pour le Grand départ : 800 4L alignées au Stade de France, ça en jette. Le lendemain, en route pour Madrid via les Pyrénées ! Hélas, la montagne a accouché de gros ennuis ! Surchauffe, joint de culasse out ! Grosse déception pour les filles qui ne se laissent pas démonter, la bonne humeur est le mot d’ordre dans le team Superdry… Ce sera un retour à Bruxelles via les châteaux de la Loire où des séances photos très vintage viendront enrichir la collection Superdry. Le Maroc, ce sera l’année prochaine !

Charlotte en Adèle konden onder fantastische omstandigheden van start gaan. Het Jubelpark baadde in een heerlijk februarizonnetje tijdens de Belgische pre-start van de 4L Trophy. De blauwe Superdry 4L van de meisjes zag er schitterend uit – de Marokkaanse woestijn was gewaarschuwd! Maar eerst richting Parijs voor het échte startschot: 800 4L’s, netjes op een rijtje in het Stade de France. Indrukwekkend! De volgende dag zette de karavaan koers naar Madrid, via de Pyreneeën. En dat liep helaas niet van een leien dakje… Oververhitting. De koppakking naar de vaantjes! Een serieuze tegenslag, maar de meisjes lieten het niet aan hun hart komen! Team Superdry blijft altijd positief! Terug naar Brussel dan maar… Onderweg werden natuurlijk nog enkele foto’s genomen aan de kastelen in de Loire – de Superdry collectie is alweer wat vintagefoto’s rijker! En Marokko, dat zal voor volgend jaar zijn…
